The CNIPA has officially decided to launch its Patent Service System from January 11, 2023 on, as part of its effort to further enhance quality and efficiency for patent examination, and render better service for the public. The System is reportedly to introduce the online application system, the archive and management of payment information, the transactional services, the PCT applicaiton and international application for design patents into an optimized and integrated framework. 

The Patent Service System will grant cross-platform access for users who, upon completing user registrations, wishes to file applications for patent, utility model, industrial deisgn, or to prepare PCT patent application, the international application for design, or the entry of PCT application into the national stage through the web, or mobile devices, or other client services. It also prepares online services for users to claim reexamination or invalidation of patent, and provides channel for reception of various documentations, the payment of fees, as well as handling of legal formalities and other transactional services.
