The Strategic Planning Department of National Intellectual Property Administration recently published the Yearbook of China's Intellectual Property Works in 2021, and updated and released the Inquiry Guidelines for Intellectual Property Statistics (2022 Edition), aiming at a quicker channel for the public to obtain intellectual property statistics.
The yearbook covers reportedly both the statistical and historical data on examination and registration of patents, trademarks, geographical indications and layout-designs of integrated circuits in China in 2021, while the 2022 edition of the Inquiry Guidelines collects the historical data of the main statistical indicators of intellectual property rights since 1985, supplemented by the main indicators data of 2021, all accessible in a more user friendly manner.
The next move, said director of the Strategic Planning Department of CNIPA, would be sticking to the annual plan, and bringing dynamic visualization of statistical data, as well as better statistical products and services to public.
