To better the administrative adjudication of major patent infringement disputes, according to the Measures for Administrative Adjudication of Major Patent Infringement Disputes, the CNIPA made the following announcement on matters concerning the acceptance of administrative adjudication of major patent infringement disputes: 

(I). As of June 1, 2021, the CNIPA will officially accept administrative adjudication cases of major patent infringement disputes, and the acceptance work shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for Administrative Adjudication of Major Patent Infringement Disputes. 

(II). Major patent infringement dispute administrative adjudication request materials shall meet the requirement of Article 5 as stipulated in Measures for Administrative Adjudication of Major Patent Infringement Dispute. The patent administration departments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall issue relevant certification materials and send the request materials to the CNIPA. The CNIPA will take the postmark date as the request date for administrative adjudication.
