On May 19th, the Supreme People's Court issued the third batch of seven typical cases of protecting property rights and entrepreneurs' legitimate rights and interests, including the following two cases of intellectual property disputes: 

(I) The case of trademark infringement and unfair competition dispute between "和睦家" and "和睦佳", which involved the statutory maximum compensation. 

(II) The first case of infringement on technical secrets ruled by the Supreme People's Court, which applied punitive damages according to law. 

The Supreme People's Court issued the first and second batch of typical cases on January 30th and December 4th, 2018. Up to now, among the three batches of typical cases that have been published, five cases of intellectual property disputes have been selected for publication.
