To further optimize the copyright registration service, effectively serve and benefit the public, and promote the high-quality development of works registration, the National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC) will shorten the processing time of works registration from 30 working days to 25 working days from September 1, 2023. 

The works registration applications submitted before September 1 will still be processed according to the original time limit.
