To help enterprises, especially trademark legal affairs, deal with related management problems, the Enterprise Trademark Management Professional Committee of the Beijing Trademark Association fully responded to the demands of its members, and on the basis of sufficient preliminary research, compiled the “Guidance for Enterprise Trademark Management” in joint effort with a number of leading enterprises and trademark legal service institutions, which will be soon released to the public.

Highlights of the Guidelines mainly include: 

Taking the enterprise trademark legal affairs as the service perspective and target object, the Guidelines refines the general thinking and effective practices that are applicable to all industries and have been tested by practice, which can basically be “learned and used immediately”.

According to the life cycle of trademarks (creation, confirmation, application, protection, etc.), the Guidelines provides clear and practical guidance for the work direction of trademark confirmation, risk prevention and control, as well as rights protection and application, brand building and efficiency improvement, etc., which makes sure that the enterprise trademark management work to be “practical and down-to-earth”.

The Guidelines comprehensively reveals the whole picture of the enterprise trademark management work, and explores the essential issues such as the positioning, goal, direction, etc. of the enterprise trademark management work, and helps the enterprise to practice with holistic thinking to realize its true value in dealing with trademark legal affairs.
