Recently, the Trademark Office of the National Intellectual Property Administration issued work measures at current stage to further improve the online application of trademark objection, review and withdrawal for non-use of three years. It is mentioned that the Trademark Office will formulate and issue guidelines for online application and defense of objection, review of rejection, invalidation and withdrawal for non-use of three years, so as to effectively guide applicants and trademark attorneys to make good use of the current online application system, to deepen understanding and to improve efficiency. Meanwhile, the trademark office suggested that applicants and trademark attorneys should be fully prepared for the final transfer to the online application.
