The National Intellectual Property Administration released the plan on its official website to help building the demonstrating cities in the national intellectual property pilot project. 

With declaration and recommendation of the local departments, as well as review and assessment of experts and other procedures, 38 cities and districts are appointed as the model cities, while other 72 cities and districts are nominated as piloting cities to aid with the demonstration work of centralizing on intellectual property in national development. The demonstration work will last from July 2022 to June 2025.
