On May 20, 2022, the National Intellectual Property Administration issued the Notice on Approving Foreign Agencies to Set up Representative Offices in China. According to the Notice, two French patent agencies and one American patent agency were authorized in accordance with the Administrative Measures for the Establishment of Resident Representative Offices of Foreign Patent Agencies in China and other relevant regulations.
