China Brand Development Report 2021 Released

Sponsored by China Brand Magazine and China Brand Research Institute of China Brand Magazine, the activities themed "China Brand Annual Meeting and China Brand Fashion Festival (2021)" were held online in Beijing on December 31, 2021. 

The event saw the official release of 2021 China Brand Development Report which combed and analyzed the development phenomenon, typical cases, innovative measures, brand protection, media communication and existing problems of Chinese brands in 2021. 

Based on the big-data analysis throughout the network, the Report reviews the recovery trend of China's economy in 2021, and combs and sums up the new features of China's brand development in 2021. 

In addition, through analysis of comprehensive index on the Internet, stories of typical brands such as Palace Museum, Li Ning, Sanxingdui, Bingfeng Soda, Xtep and Arctic Soda also drew widespread attention. 

According to the Report, phenomena or problems, such as more emphasis on marketing but less on design, lack of key technology, growing number of promotion scandals and lack of integrity in live broadcast linger as the major issues with the Chinese brands. At the same time, the Report judges that in 2022, brands in China will take some new trends, including expansion of domestic products, market sinking, failure of traffic economy, growing penetration of niche brand, and the ongoing popularity of domestic products.
