With a recent agreement of CNIPA to build intellectual property protection centers in Jiangsu, Wuxi and Sanya, so far the number of intellectual property protection centers under construction and in operation in China has reached 49. 

Currently Jiangsu Province has laid out and built seven intellectual property protection centers, making it the provinces with the largest number of intellectual property protection centers in China. Jiangsu has carried out rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property rights for many emerging industries, such as new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials, etc. 

Sanya Protection Center aims to carry out rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property rights for marine and modern agricultural industries, and is the first intellectual property protection center laid out and constructed in Hainan Province.
